Lovin These!!!

Hey guys!!! Hope everyone had a wonderful Monday!!! My husband left today for California so its just me and the kids for a few days :( Wish we could of gone with him, I've never been to Cali before! Anyways, on to the post.........I have been in LOVE with Kiss Everlasting nails! When they first launched I was quite skeptical as I am a slave to the salon BUT I gave them a chance and I fell in love. They did just what they claimed and stayed on for 7 days and still looked fabulous! The other day I decided I wanted to spice it up a bit from the usual french manicure when I saw these bad boys! These are the limited edition Neon collection nails. And to my surprise these came with 2 sets of nails! These are the neon pink nails and the set also came with neon pink french tips! After these I will be applying the neon pink tips and I will most definitely post those but back to these! They do not seem as sturdy as the french manicure. On the french nails the white tips are very sturdy and seem to be a lot thicker. These are a lot easier to bend which stinks b/c I feel like I have to be careful with them unlike the french manicure. One plus is that they are made neon pink so there is no paint to chip or wear off. I have had these on for 4 days so far and they seem to be holding up pretty well and they look fab, I just wish they were a little more sturdy but for the price you can't complain! If you get a chance to check these out, do b/c they are so fun for summer!!!

Outdoor Adventure!

Hello everyone! Happy Saturday!!! I know I haven't blogged in a while but if you saw my latest youtube video you know why. :) Anyways, today was a nice day out and my husband leaves in a few days for California (jealous) so we were spending time with the kids before he leaves. We decided to take them to the hatchery and walk the trails around the river. It was such a pretty day and our kids love being outdoors. The day turned bad when my little girl started needing a nap but it was fun while it lasted LOL. Well just thought I'd post a few pics so here ya go! Be expecting lots of upcoming posts and videos!!!

Lazy Day Lipstick

Hello lovelies! I recently purchased a couple of things from the "To The Beach" collection and I wanted to share them with you! I know this is kind of "old news" now but when I order online it takes a week or more to get here :( Anyways, onto what I bought! I had originally planned on not buying any lipsticks but after seeing so many swatches of Lazy Day lipstick and the packaging, I couldn't resist! I love light pink lips and I have never been a fan of MAC's lustre lipsticks until I purchased Viva Glam Gaga and Cyndi. Now to the color, its not as bubblegum pink as it shows up in the picture above but it is much more muted and sort of a mauvey light pink. Very natural and easy to pull off. Does anyone have Hue lipstick, is this similar?

Get Away Bronze Blush

Now for the blush! I tend to stray away from strong blushes. I have a let of redness on my face and I feel like most blushes bring that out more so I try to stick with neutral colors. When I saw this I had to have it, a bronze blush, perfect and unlike anything I have! I have a really hard time with bronzers being too red or too orange for my skin and some oxodize and turn colors so I am very picky and I was nervous about this for that reason! This is a nice rosy bronze. I have used it as an all over bronzer but its a bit too rosy so I do like this as a blush. It works better when I have a tan, obviously, but none the less its a nice color for summer. Overall I am very pleased with my purchases. I tried to contain myself and buy only what I KNEW I would use. I wanted Splashing lipgloss but I never use gloss so I passed on that and the other item I was eyeing was Life's a Breeze lip pencil and I may order that sometime soon, I think it would be a perfect match to the Lazy Day lipstick.

My Baby is One!!!

Sorry I have been so busy lately and haven't posted but there's a reason why..........this little man of mine turned the big 1!!! His birthday was Friday and his party was Saturday and now we are all getting sick lol. We had a blast so it was all worth it but its kind of bittersweet........I am so happy to have a healthy growing little boy but so sad that he is growing up so fast :( I hope you guys had an amazing weekend as well.........be sure to kiss and hug on your babies before they grow up!!!

NYX India

I finally got NYX India Lipstick! I saw this on the Bombshellsuite's youtube channel and it looked gorgeous!!! I started researching it and it looked like a gorgeous bright peachy/melon color. I finally decided to purchase it from ebay and I finally got it today! I was ecstatic when I saw the package in the mailbox. I opened it and was astounded by the color, it was beautiful. I ran to the bathroom to apply it and was a little disappointed. I have this same problem with the NYX round lipsticks as I do this one, the formulation. They have the most beautiful colors but the formulation just plain sucks. I had hoped the black label lipsticks (being 3x's the price) would be better, but no such luck. When I apply it I end up with very streaky lips and it slides everywhere. I am going to try and work with this and find a way to wear it b/c the color is so unique and beautiful. I should also mentioned that I had previously considered purchasing Lorac Babydoll until I saw this and after reading so many reviews I had decided they were very similar so I saved myself some money and purchased India, however I am wondering if the consistency of the Lorac Babydoll might have been better. I will see if I can figure out for it not to look so streaky and PLZ let me know if you guys have any ideas! :)
