Revlon is all the rave!
Second post for the day........yay! So, everyone has been raving about the new lipglosses and from the moment I saw them in my local Walgreens I had to have them so I waited till they went on sale or I had a coupon b/c lets face it, $6.99 for a Revlon lip gloss is a lil on the expensive side, so I caught them on a good deal and now I own these gorgeous shades! I bought Peach Petal and Lilac Pastelle. They are both beautiful and seem to be much more pigmented than I had ever expected. They remind me of MAC's Cremesheen glass so I dug out my Ever So Rich and swatched it right alone side them and as you can see the Revlon is a little more thick and, believe it or not, more pigmented! The Revlon seems thick but it glides on your lips so nice and soft. My first thought when I saw the Lilac Pastelle was it looks just like Barry M 129 in a gloss form so I also swatched that for you guys. I put the lilac on yesterday over my bare lips and it just had a nice lilac sheen and it felt so good on my lips so today I will be wearing the peach and I am quite excited!!! Have a great weekend and let me know if any of you guys have any of these!!!

Urban Decay Hall of Fame
Well, I have slightly more exciting pictures today to share with you all........they are of the Urban Decay Hall of Fame set. I ordered this about 2 weeks ago from Hautelook and it came with a lipstick, lipgloss, 24/7 liner, mascara, and of course their Primer Potion. I found this set to be so intriguing as I have been on the hunt for a black liner to stay on my water line and I am always on the hunt for a good mascara and I have to say, the brush on this mascara is quite different but different can be good, we will see! The lipgloss is something outrageous! Its a beautiful, sexy red color which is quite pigmented and did I forget to mention is has a sexy half naked man on it??? Can you say, "WOW!" LOL. The lipstick is "Midnight Cowboy" which is a nice nude color but somewhat sheer so I'm not sure that it will cover my pigmented lips enough to actually be a "nude" but it is quite cute :) I am eager to try all of these products and I am sure I will be doing reviews on them on my youtube channel so be sure to stay tuned!!!

Lipstick Haul Needed!!!
I hope everyone had a good Valentine's day.........this picture was taken of my husband and I on our way to eat dinner, you can't see our little loves in the backseat but they were there! lol. Anyways, as I was getting ready I had on this lovely "throw" as my husband calls it and I wanted to do a neutral brown eye with a bright pinky/red lip to 1. match my "throw" and 2. because it was Valentine's Day lol. I opened every pink lipstick I had and that is as bright as I could find :( As I looked for the perfect shade of pink I realized I have about 15 lipsticks and they are all the same shade of pinky nude...........so, I am going to branch out my lipstick buying and purchase a few colors that are "out there" and see what I come up with!!! I will keep you guys posted on how it goes but I guess my husband was right when he said "all your lipsticks look the same" lol. Sunday, February 14, 2010
My Valentine is.....Soft Ochre Paint Pot!!!

Well it is officially Valentine's Day and the thing I am adoring today is Soft Ochre paint pot by MAC. I have used it every single day. I have a lot of redness and blue colored veins on my eye lids and I usually have to put concealer on them to blank it all out.......THEN I have to apply Too Faced Shadow Insurance to keep that from creasing!!! Even on days when I don't wear eyeshadow I still do that to cover up the discoloration around my eye area but not anymore!!!! Now its one easy step.........I dab this on my lid and I have FULL coverage, no creasing, and shadows stick right to this stuff like velcro! Even after ALLL of this, today was the real winner! I wanted to wear a very pale lavender lipstick but the redness of my lips kept coming through and keeping the color of the lipstick from showing up as it should AND since its winter my lips are rubbish and dry so I thought I'll give my paint pot a try and WOW it was amazing!!! I have no idea if you are suppose to use these on your lips (probably not) but it worked! The paint pot dried but didn't dry out my lips at all!!! Usually I put concealer on my lips to blank them out but then it dulls down the lipstick b/c they mix together but since this dries it makes the lipstick much more vibrant. Not to mention that my lipstick stayed on for FOREVER! I was sooo impressed! I am sold on this stuff COMPLETELY! I can't imagine not having it in my collection now. It has totally simplified my makeup routine. Sorry for the ongoing ramble but I wanted to let you guys know about this amazing product. Its very seldom that I find a products that I will repuchase again and again and this is one that I will definitely buy a back-up of. Hope you guys have a lovely Valentine's Day :)

My Newest Faves!!
Hey everbody! Sorry I haven't updated in a while, but I have missed making videos :( I have been busy lately with our new baby due to arrive in a week and a half :) Anyways, I have picked up some things in the last few weeks that I am loving so I wanted to share those with you :) Be sure to follow me as I will be updating with lots of new stuff in the next week!!!
Very Sexy Lip Liner in Ginger Spice-This is a very neutral lip liner that I am loving right now. It is very similar to Most Natural lip liner by Milani. Both are very neutral and go on very smoothly, great with neutral lipsticks!
Very Sexy Eyeshadow in Mystified-This is a beautiful shimmery light brown. When I'm in a hurry I just throw it on my lid for a little shimmer and color or I can use it as a hi-light on other days, very versatile and goes on very smooth with very little fallout :)
L'Oreal De-Crease Eye Shadow Base-Total love! It is only about $9 at drugstores and completely worth it! It neutralizes the blue veins on my eyelid and definitely ensures a stay-put shadow throughout the day.
Solar Power SPF 20 Light Bronzer by Physician's Formula-I am definitely not a bronzer girl.......just never had much luck with them. I always felt like a shimmery, muddy mess! I decided to start yet ANOTHER search for a summer bronzer despite my usual fail. This one is great! I wanted a drugstore brand since I usually hate them. I did not want to spend a ton on one and hate it. This one is only about $9 at Wal-Mart and amazing! It gives a very natural glow and has very little shimmer, its barely noticeable which I love! There is also a darker version for those more tan and with sunscreen who can pass it up??? It has a darker and lighter shade in each compact so I use the darker one with an angle brush for contouring..........works great!!!
(pictured below)

Creme d'Nude Lipstick from MAC-This is a great lipstick for anyone scared of nude lips! It is nude but super wearable for anyone because of the lustre finish and you can give it different looks with lipgloss and liners. I would say its a must-have for everyone's makeup bag!
Myth Lipstick from MAC-Love the nude lips for summer!!! This one is a little more matte so its a little more bold of a nude then creme d'nude however, the overall color is very similar. I love this one with a liner and gloss for a super nude look.
